Your Frame Should Protect Your Investment

What’s under your mattress matters more than most people think. The right foundation prevents sinking, extends mattress life, and keeps your warranty valid. The wrong one can void your coverage entirely.

Can I use my existing bed frame? Maybe. Monarch Rest mattresses require proper support to maintain warranty eligibility. If your current frame has at least three cross slats and a center support post, you can pair it with a Monarch Rest foundation or boxspring and you’re good to go.

What if I have a platform bed? If it has a solid deck, you’re all set. If it has slats only, you’ll need to add a bunkie board to create a solid, level surface. Without that solid surface, gaps between slats can cause uneven wear and void your warranty.

What’s the difference between a wood foundation and a boxspring? Wood foundations use slats to provide firm, stable support with minimal motion transfer. Boxsprings contain actual flexing coils that add a layer of responsive give, which works especially well with double-sided mattresses. Both options come in standard and low-profile heights.

What about adjustable bases? Adjustable bases work great with Conforma, Integrity, Resilience, and Fuchsia mattresses. Just make sure the base is rated for 800+ lbs capacity. Double-sided mattresses like Elite and Perfect Choice are not recommended for adjustable bases.
