Design & Character
Kapernaum Collection
The Kapernaum Collection takes its name from the German name for a town along the Sea of Galilee, and it carries a quiet, traditional dignity to match. Flared posts, curved legs, and flush inset drawers give the line a settled, classic look. The double pedestal layout puts storage on both sides of the kneehole, balancing the desk visually and keeping drawers within reach from your chair. A lap drawer hides a keyboard tray and pencil drawer combo that pulls out for typing and tucks away to clear the surface. It is a generous, grounded desk that earns its place at the center of a working office.Craftsmanship
Every Kapernaum piece is benchmade by Amish craftsmen in Fredericksburg, Ohio, where A&L Furniture has built solid hardwood office furniture since 1996. The work happens on-site from rough lumber to final coat. The flush inset drawers are fitted to sit clean and flat within the frame, and the keyboard pullout glides smoothly along its track. A three-step finishing process, applied by hand, brings out the grain and seals every surface against years of daily use. The flared posts and twin pedestals are shaped and joined to carry a full working load. It is the kind of build meant to last a lifetime.
Heirloom Quality
Built to last a lifetime, this desk is solid hardwood through and through, with no veneer or particleboard hiding under the finish. The inset drawers ride within a frame joined to outlast their first owner, and the wide top carries monitors, books, and the daily load of a working office without bowing. Also available in a 72 inch width for those who need more surface. Choose from a deep menu of species and stains so the desk matches its room. Order it your way and Millwest delivers your finished desk straight to your door with nationwide delivery across the continental US.
