Design & Character

Mission Collection

Mission style is about restraint, and this desk wears it well. Flat drawer fronts run clean across the face, black Mission hardware adds a quiet graphic note, and an arched cut-out base lifts the whole piece off the floor with a touch of craftsman character. At seventy-two inches wide with two full pedestals, it gives you room to spread out a project and keep the tools of the trade close at hand. The straight, simple silhouette suits a study or a home office where you want furniture that looks deliberate rather than decorated, and the solid hardwood reads as real quality the moment you sit down.

Craftsmanship

Every Mission piece is benchmade by Amish craftsmen in Fredericksburg, Ohio, where A&L Furniture has built solid hardwood office furniture since 1996. The work happens on-site from rough lumber to final coat. The flat drawer fronts and arched base are cut and fitted by hand, and the broad top is built from genuine solid hardwood, not a veneered panel. A three-step finishing process, applied by hand, brings out the grain and seals every surface against years of daily use. It is the kind of build that answers for itself and quietly holds up to hard, real work over a long working career.

Heirloom Quality

Built to last, this desk is solid hardwood through and through, with no veneer or particleboard hiding under the finish. A double-pedestal frame of genuine wood carries the weight of a full working surface without flexing, and the joinery is the kind meant to outlast its first owner at the desk. Choose from a deep menu of species and stains so the piece matches the room it lands in and the pieces already there. Order it your way and Millwest delivers your finished desk straight to your door with nationwide delivery across the continental US, putting heirloom solid wood within reach.
