  • Graphite hardware
Shown in a two-tone of Rustic Walnut and Rustic Hickory with graphite hardware.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection

The Wakefield Collection reads as transitional and quietly industrial, where clean lines and graphite hardware do the talking instead of ornament. This L-desk turns that restraint into a serious command center, two seventy-two-inch runs meeting at a corner so a monitor, paperwork, and a second project all keep their own space. Flush inset drawers sit flat with the face, holding the crisp, unbroken surface the line is known for, while ample storage and shelving keep the essentials close without crowding the work. Because it is finished on all sides, the desk can float in the middle of a room and still look intentional from every angle.

Craftsmanship

Amish craftsman building solid hardwood office furniture at A&L Furniture in Ohio Every Wakefield piece is benchmade by Amish craftsmen in Fredericksburg, Ohio, where A&L Furniture has built solid hardwood office furniture since 1996. The work happens on-site from rough lumber to final coat. The L-shaped form is squared and joined so both wings carry weight without racking, and the flush inset drawers are fitted to sit flat and true with the face. A three-step finishing process, applied by hand, brings out the grain and seals every surface against years of daily use. Graphite hardware lends the clean, industrial edge that defines the line, set against the warmth of real wood. It holds up to real work, day after day.

Heirloom Quality

Solid hardwood Amish office furniture handcrafted by A&L Furniture Built to last, the Wakefield L-Desk is solid hardwood through and through, with no veneer or particleboard hiding under the finish. A desk this size earns its keep for decades, and solid wood is what lets it, surfaces that take daily wear and drawers that run true. Because it is finished on every side, it ages evenly whether against a wall or anchoring the room. Choose from a deep menu of species and stains so the piece matches the office it lands in. Order it your way and Millwest delivers your finished desk straight to your door with nationwide delivery across the continental US, putting heirloom solid wood within reach.

Standard Features

  • Solid hardwood L-shaped desk with drawers on both sides
  • Flush inset drawers

Shown in Oak with a Michael's Cherry stain and graphite hardware.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection
The Wakefield Collection leans transitional and industrial, letting clean lines and graphite hardware carry the look without fuss. This version of the corner desk spreads storage across both wings, so a working corner holds files and supplies on either side without you ever standing to reach them. Flush inset drawers sit flush with the face, keeping the long surfaces crisp and unbroken in the way the line intends, while ample shelving rounds out a layout meant for real daily work. Finished on all sides, the desk looks deliberate from every direction, equally at home anchored to a wall or floated out into the center of an open office.

The work happens on-site from rough lumber to final coat. With drawers on both wings, each pedestal is built and squared to carry its load, and every flush inset drawer is fitted to sit flat and true with the face. A three-step finishing process, applied by hand, brings out the grain and seals every surface against years of daily use. Graphite hardware lends the clean, industrial edge that defines the line, set against the warmth of real wood. It holds up to real work, day after day.

Heirloom Quality

Solid hardwood Amish office furniture handcrafted by A&L Furniture Built to last, this L-Desk is solid hardwood through and through, with no veneer or particleboard hiding under the finish. Storage on both sides means more drawers in daily motion, and solid wood is what keeps them running true year after year. Because the desk is finished on every side, it wears evenly wherever it sits, against a wall or out in the open. Choose from a deep menu of species and stains so the two-tone piece matches the office it lands in. Shown in Brown Maple with a New Carrington stain and graphite hardware.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection

The Wakefield Collection takes a transitional, lightly industrial line, trading ornament for clean edges and graphite hardware. At sixty-four inches wide, this computer desk hits a practical middle ground, big enough for a monitor, a laptop, and the paperwork that piles up beside them, compact enough to fit a real room. Flush inset drawers sit flat with the face, keeping the surface crisp and unbroken the way the line intends, while ample storage and shelving keep daily essentials close at hand. Finished on all sides, the desk looks intentional from any angle, so it can sit against a wall or float in the room without ever showing an unfinished back.

Part of the Wakefield Collection, this transitional, industrial-leaning desk pairs clean lines and graphite hardware with genuine solid hardwood, finished on every visible side so it works as the centerpiece of a home or executive office.

  • Solid hardwood double pedestal desk with clean, industrial lines
  • Flush inset drawers

Shown in Quartersawn White Oak (QSWO) with a Tavern stain and graphite hardware.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection

The Wakefield Collection reads transitional and quietly industrial, where clean lines and graphite hardware carry the look without ornament. This double pedestal desk puts that to work with storage flanking both sides of the kneehole, so files and supplies stay split, sorted, and within arm's reach. Flush inset drawers sit flat with the face, keeping the sixty-four-inch front crisp and unbroken in the way the line is known for. Finished on all sides, the desk looks deliberate from every angle, which means it can anchor the center of a room or sit against a wall and read as intentional either way, never showing a back that was left unfinished.

Amish Wakefield Partners Desk

The Amish Wakefield Partners Desk is built for two, a deep thirty-six-inch surface meant to be worked from both sides. Part of the Wakefield Collection, this transitional, industrial-styled desk brings clean lines, graphite hardware, and genuine solid hardwood to a shared workspace, finished on every side so it looks right no matter which seat you take.

Dimensions

  • 72" W × 36" D × 30" H

Standard Features

  • Solid hardwood partners desk with clean, industrial lines
  • Flush inset drawers
  • Finished on all sides
  • Ample storage and shelving areas
  • Graphite hardware
Shown in Brown Maple with a Shadow stain and graphite hardware.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection

The Wakefield Collection leans transitional and industrial, letting clean lines and graphite hardware set the tone. A partners desk is the most social form in the line, a full thirty-six inches deep so two people can sit across from one another and still keep their own room to work. Flush inset drawers sit flat with the face, keeping both long sides crisp and unbroken the way the line intends, while ample storage and shelving serve whoever is sitting there. Finished on all sides is essential here, since both faces are on display at once, and the desk reads as complete from either chair.

A desk worked from both sides is squared and joined to stay rigid, and every flush inset drawer is fitted to sit flat and true with the face. A three-step finishing process, applied by hand, brings out the grain and seals every surface against years of daily use. Graphite hardware lends the clean, industrial edge that defines the line, set against the warmth of real wood. It holds up to real work, day after day.

Heirloom Quality

Solid hardwood Amish office furniture handcrafted by A&L Furniture Built to last, the Wakefield Partners Desk is solid hardwood through and through, with no veneer or particleboard hiding under the finish. A surface shared by two takes twice the daily wear, and solid wood is what carries it through decades. Because both faces are fully finished, the desk looks complete from either seat and ages evenly all around. Choose from a deep menu of species and stains so the piece matches the office it lands in. Order it your way and Millwest delivers your finished desk straight to your door with nationwide delivery across the continental US, putting heirloom solid wood within reach for a shared workspace.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection

The Wakefield Collection takes a transitional, lightly industrial line, where clean edges and graphite hardware stand in for ornament. At forty-eight inches wide with a single pedestal, this is the compact member of the family, the one that fits a converted home office or a corner of a study without dominating the room. Flush inset drawers sit flat with the face, keeping the front crisp and unbroken the way the line intends, while the pedestal and shelving handle the daily essentials. Finished on all sides, the desk looks deliberate from any angle, so it reads as intentional whether tucked against a wall or set out where both faces show.

Standard Features

  • Solid hardwood two-drawer file cabinet with clean, industrial lines
  • Flush inset drawers
  • Finished on all sides
  • Ample storage area
  • Graphite hardware
Shown in Quartersawn White Oak (QSWO) with a Tavern stain and graphite hardware.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection

The Wakefield Collection reads transitional and quietly industrial, with clean lines and graphite hardware doing the work instead of ornament. This two-drawer file cabinet carries that same restraint into a small footprint, standing a desk-height thirty inches so it slides beside a work surface or tucks under a return. Flush inset drawers sit flat with the face, keeping the front crisp and unbroken in the way the line is known for, a tidy column of storage rather than a metal box. Finished on all sides, the cabinet reads as real furniture whether it stands alone in a corner or lines up beside a matching Wakefield desk.

The drawers are built to carry a packed load of folders, and each flush inset drawer is fitted to sit flat and true with the face for a clean, unbroken front. A three-step finishing process, applied by hand, brings out the grain and seals every surface against years of daily use. Graphite hardware lends the clean, industrial edge that defines the line, set against the warmth of real wood. It holds up to real work, day after day.

Heirloom Quality

Solid hardwood Amish office furniture handcrafted by A&L Furniture Built to last, this file cabinet is solid hardwood through and through, with no veneer or particleboard hiding under the finish. Drawers loaded with files move countless times over the years, and solid wood is what keeps them running true long after a metal cabinet would bind. Because it is finished on every side, the piece ages evenly wherever it lands. Choose from a deep menu of species and stains so the cabinet matches the desk and room it lands in. Sized for the Wakefield computer desk, it is part of the Wakefield Collection and carries the same transitional, industrial styling, clean lines and graphite hardware in genuine solid hardwood. (shown with Amish Wakefield Computer Desk - Sold Separately)

Dimensions

  • 60" W × 12" D × 15" H

Standard Features

  • Solid hardwood hutch top with clean, industrial lines
  • Flush inset drawers
  • Ample storage area

  • Designed to sit on the Amish Wakefield Computer Desk, sold separately
Shown in a two-tone of Rustic Quartersawn White Oak (QSWO) and Rich Cherry with a Driftwood stain and graphite hardware.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection

The Wakefield Collection reads transitional and quietly industrial, where clean lines and graphite hardware stand in for ornament, and this hutch top carries that look up off the desk. At sixty inches wide and just fifteen inches tall, it adds a tidy band of storage above the work surface, putting reference materials and supplies within easy reach. Flush inset drawers sit flat with the face, keeping the front crisp and unbroken in the way the line is known for. The back is not finished, since it sits against a wall behind the desk, so the hutch is made to complete a Wakefield computer desk rather than stand alone.

A three-step finishing process, applied by hand, brings out the grain and seals every surface against years of daily use. Graphite hardware lends the clean, industrial edge that defines the line, set against the warmth of real wood. It holds up to real work, day after day.

Amish Wakefield Hutch Top

The Amish Wakefield Hutch Top adds a tall band of shelving above the work surface, sized to complete the Wakefield L-desk. Part of the Wakefield Collection, it carries the line's transitional, industrial styling, clean lines in genuine solid hardwood, with ample shelving areas. (shown with Amish Wakefield L-Desk - Sold Separately)

Dimensions

  • 68" W × 12" D × 24" H

Standard Features

  • Solid hardwood hutch top with clean, industrial lines
  • Ample shelving areas
  • Designed to sit on the Amish Wakefield L-Desk, sold separately
Shown in a two-tone of Rustic Walnut and Rustic Hickory.

Design & Character

Wakefield Collection

The Wakefield Collection reads transitional and quietly industrial, where clean lines carry the look without ornament, and this hutch top brings that character up off the desk. At sixty-eight inches wide and a full twenty-four inches tall, it is the taller of the two Wakefield hutches, adding generous shelving above the work surface for books, binders, and the reference materials a busy office accumulates. The extra height makes real use of vertical space without widening the desk's footprint below. The back is not finished, since it sits against a wall behind the desk, so the hutch is made to complete a Wakefield L-desk rather than stand alone.

The taller hutch is built to seat squarely on the L-desk below and to carry a full load of books across its shelving without sagging. A three-step finishing process, applied by hand, brings out the grain and seals every surface against years of daily use. Graphite hardware lends the clean, industrial edge that defines the line, set against the warmth of real wood. It holds up to real work, day after day.

Heirloom Quality

Solid hardwood Amish office furniture handcrafted by A&L Furniture Built to last, this hutch top is solid hardwood on every surface that shows, with no veneer or particleboard hiding under the finish. Shelving built from real wood holds a deep row of books for years without bowing, the failure that ruins lesser shelving. Because the hutch is made to order in the same species as the desk, the two read as one coordinated piece. Choose from a deep menu of species so the set matches the room it lands in. Order it your way and Millwest delivers your finished hutch straight to your door with nationwide delivery across the continental US, putting heirloom solid wood within reach.
