Craftsmanship & Materials
Every Charland collection piece is handcrafted by Amish woodworkers in Ohio's Amish Country, using techniques passed down through generations. It is built from solid hardwood, so it holds its shape and its good looks through decades of everyday use. You choose the wood species and the stain, which lets the finish match your existing furniture rather than fight it. Solid wood panels and posts, dovetail bed slats, and a lag and bolt rail system give the frame a quiet, steady footing. The result is heirloom quality: a piece made to be lived with, not replaced. Criswell has built hardwood furniture this way for three generations.
Why You'll Love It
With clean lines and a solid, well proportioned frame, this piece settles into almost any bedroom without demanding attention. It comes in every size from twin through California King, so it suits a guest room, a child's room, or a spacious primary suite. Because you pick the wood and the stain, it can lean rustic or refined to suit the room you already have. It also pairs naturally with the rest of the Charland collection, letting you build a coordinated look over time instead of all at once. The result is a lasting, practical piece you will not outgrow. Nothing about it is rushed.
